During the summer months we will provide two "party size" disposable bar-b-ques ( for 1 week stay). Please use them on the table outside covered with red tiles and dispose of them when they are cold.
Check-in and Departure
Breach house will be avaiable from 16:00 on your day of arrival. Out of peak season we can sometimes accommodate and earlier arrival by prior agreement. On your day of departure please leave the house by 10:00 to give us time to prepare the house for our next guests.
Please note that Breach House is a thatched cottage and under no circumstances must you leave any candles unattended.
There is a dish washer and we provide a few dishwasher tablets.
Breach House has a small worktop freezer - about the size of a large microwave.
The garage is not available for guests.
All of the major supermarkets deliver. There is a small grocery shop 5 min walk away and there are supermarkets in Wool, Wareham and Dorchester.
A "Z bed" is available for a young child - on request
There is a high chair at Breach House available for your use.
We will provide some logs for the wood burner during winter months. If you need more the Londis store at the end of the road sells logs.
There is parking on the drive for one car only. There is normally space in front of Breach House for 2 further cars with (almost) unlimited parking 100m away.
Breach House is not to be used for large parties, wedding receptions or stag/hen do's! If we discover this is happening you will be required to leave the house.
Pets are not allowed at Breach House - sorry.
We do not allow smoking in Breach House.
Tea, coffee, milk and sugar
We provide enough to get you started
We provide hand and bath towels but you should bring your own beach towels
Reception is not great but we provide a Freeview Box.
Washing Machine and Dryer
Both are available - we even supply a small amount of washing powder but bring more with you if you intend doing a lot of washing!
There is wi-fi in the house although we cannot guarantee availability - one of the joys of living at the end of the line in a rural environment.
